The family of President Vladimir Zelensky remains in Ukraine, despite the war.
He spoke about this during a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday, December 19.
According to the head of state, his son goes to school, and his daughter — to the university.

— For my family, the results of the year are the same as for every family in Ukraine. We understand all the challenges. We understand that we have the opportunity to live, work and serve Ukraine. There is an opportunity to be together. Today, being in Ukraine, even sometimes in different locations, is still being together, — he said.
Zelensky expressed respect to those who remain in Ukraine during this difficult time for the country.
— Because a warrior who is at the front, and his girlfriend or wife is here or in another city, he still feels who he is protecting… I personally respect those who are here. I believe they provide that moral support and strength to these warriors. Just like my wife, who supports me and works hard. And indeed she has many programs, she helps as best she can… — he emphasized.

— My children. My son studies, sometimes goes to school, sometimes online, like everyone else, it seems to me, boys and girls. And my daughter is at university. I'm glad they're here. I am very pleased that they made a personal choice and are making their personal contribution, like every family in Ukraine, — noted the head of state.
