Zelensky announced a reduction in bureaucracy in the Ukrainian Armed Forces after a meeting with the Ministry of Defense

The Ukrainian government is preparing new and modern solutions for the Ukrainian military, which will relieve units from unnecessary bureaucracy and paperwork.

President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this after a series of meetings, including with the Defense Ministry team.

The situation at the front and in the army: reports from the military and the Ministry of Defense

He reported that he had military meetings since the beginning of the day, among which was a report by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky on the situation at the front.

Now watching

— And the most attentive, of course, — to the Pokrovsky direction. There are invariably the toughest battles there, and this direction requires our most intensified responses to the occupier. Each brigade, each unit in the Pokrovsky direction — all our warriors who remain steadfast there and defend our positions despite Russian assaults, in many ways hold the foundation of defense in the entire east of our country, — he said.

At the same time, attention to all other areas on the front does not diminish, both in the Donetsk region, in the Kharkiv region, and in the southern regions of Ukraine.

Zelensky also heard a report from the head of the GUR Kirill Budanov, but the details are not public, the president said.

The Minister of Defense Rustam Umerov reported separately, in particular, on Ukraine's cooperation with Turkey.

— Among other things, — on the construction of our corvettes for Ukraine: we will continue this cooperation of ours, — he said.

The head of state reported that he held a meeting with the team of the Ministry of Defense.

— We are preparing new and absolutely modern solutions for our soldiers, which will definitely remove a lot of unnecessary bureaucracy and paperwork from the units. These decisions will soon be presented to our society. They are truly innovative, — he said.

International Relations: MFA Reports

In addition to the military, the MFA and the Office's internationalists also reported to Zelenskyy about our special foreign policy opportunities that Ukraine has “thanks to many Ukrainians and millions of citizens of other countries who believe in Ukraine, who support us”.

— These are opportunities — to at least — keep Ukraine in the focus of world attention, increase support for our state, for our people and do truly effective advocacy for Ukrainian needs and the main need — the need to end the war as quickly and fairly as possible. Ukrainians have survived this war and have already been able to do so much because they not only united within the state, but have also been maintaining the unity of the world for years for the right purpose — and for Ukraine, and for everything that makes our world humane and capable of defeating evil, — he said.

The head of state emphasized that unity must be maintained in the future, both in Ukraine and in Europe and the world, among those who value Ukraine.

— Already this August, we are preparing news about greater consolidation of our people and everyone in the world who helps us. But for this, both the government and the Verkhovna Rada need to work in August, — he summed up.

Earlier, the head of state reported that after an unsuccessful attempt to capture Kharkov, the Russian army troops concentrated in the Pokrovsky direction.
