Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Zelensky and Starmer meeting
As Volodymyr Zelensky stated, first of all, he thanked for the support, solidarity and assistance of Great Britain with Ukraine in protecting lives.
“Thanks to cooperation, thousands of lives have been saved from Russian attacks. This is the main goal. To save as many lives as possible. To stop Russian terror. To make Russia think about peace, not about expanding the war. Absolutely clear objectives,” the president noted.
According to the head of state, the first step is maximum political and diplomatic coordination.

The second task is to develop joint defense projects and weapons production, he said.
Zelensky explained that Ukraine is increasing investment in production and preparing for further development of defense cooperation.
At the same time, the third task has the goal of expanding sanctions against the Russian Federation for the war, which will actually make it impossible for Russian arms production to scale up, the Ukrainian president said.
— In particular, we will provide our partners with a list of Russian enterprises involved in the production of Oreshnik and other means that Russians use for terrorism. All companies and individuals involved must be blocked at least in key jurisdictions of the world, — Zelensky is convinced.
The President noted that currently most of the companies involved in the production of the Oreshnik missile are not under sanctions, so Ukraine is going to fix this.
In his opinion, interaction with Russian arms manufacturers is a crime against peace, because that is how it should be interpreted. The head of state thanked everyone who helps reduce Russia's defense potential.
