Oligarch Dmitry Firtash was left without one of his assets. The Zaporizhia Titanium and Magnesium Combine became the property of the state by a court decision.
The judicial epic in the case of the Zaporozhye Titanium and Magnesium Combine has ended. True, not in the way that the sanctioned oligarch Dmitry Firtash would like.
The plant returned to state ownership
The Supreme Court left the decision of the previous instances of the return of the Zaporozhye titanium and magnesium plant to the state ownership unchanged. Thus, the enterprise finally moved from the lists of assets of oligarch Dmitry Firtash to the lists of state-owned enterprises.
Thus, the court agreed with the arguments of the prosecutor and the representative of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, as a plaintiff, which were presented during the trial, and refused to satisfy the cassation complaint of Tolexis Trading Limited, the court decision of May 23 says.
Thanks to the court decision, the property complex of the plant was returned to state ownership in its entirety and irrevocably.
Representatives of Dmitry Firtash twice tried to appeal the court decision to return the plant to state ownership, but were unsuccessful – the oligarch lost one of his assets.
