Every day on the battlefield, young guys give their lives, who fight for the freedom of Ukraine for each of its citizens. Unfortunately, there are no casualties in a war.
Young commanders – Zaluzny became the heroes of this war
The death of every Ukrainian defender makes the thirst for our Victory even greater, as well as the desire for revenge on all rashist soldiers. So, in the war with Russian evil spirits, Vadim Zhuravsky with the call sign “Viking” died. Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny released a video in memory of the guy.
Vadim was a young commander from the 95th Zhytomyr Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On April 15, 2022, Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree on awarding him the Order “For Courage”, III degree.
He courageously rebuffed the Russian occupier and brought the Victory of Ukraine closer, but, unfortunately, this morning, May 21, it became known about his death.
The heroes of this war were young commanders. Those who take over divisions after fallen brethren. Who gains their own experience in fierce battles. Who gives heart, soul, health, and sometimes, unfortunately, life for Ukraine,” Zaluzhny signed the video.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published a video filmed in Zhuravsky’s unit on the front line. It contains moments from the service of a senior lieutenant.
One of the fragments was about an officer's dream. According to Viking, he dreamed: “Win, destroy all enemies, restore territorial integrity and return home with victory” .
It is a pity that he will not be able to realize it himself, but Zaluzny assured that they will fulfill his dream, they will Victory!

Recent losses of the Russian army
The defense forces of Ukraine stand guard over security and destroy the enemy every day. Our defenders are repelling attacks in all directions, inflicting significant losses on the Russians in manpower and military equipment. As of May 21, the loss of infidels is approximately:
- personnel – 28,850 people liquidated;
- tanks – 1,278 units;
- combat armored machines – 3,116 units;
- artillery systems – 596 units;
- MLRS – 201 units;
- air defense systems – 93 units;
- aircraft – 204 units;
- helicopters – 169 units;
- operational-tactical level UAVs – 462 units;
- cruise missiles – 104 units;
- ships and boats – 13 units;
- automotive equipment and tankers – 2178 units;
- special equipment – 43 units.
At the same time, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that the data are approximate, since hostilities continue constantly and very intensively. Therefore, the number of liquidated Russians may be even greater.
