An answer to this question was given by the deputy head of the KSCA Mykola Povoroznyk on the air of Channel 24.
According to him, local authorities still urge the people of Kiev not to return to the capital. At least, the situation in the East of Ukraine remains unclear for now, as well as due to constant rocket attacks throughout the country.
No one guarantees that Kyiv will not be shelled . Moreover, the capital remains a “tidbit” for the enemy. This must be clearly understood, – Povoroznik stressed.
At the same time, life is beginning to revive in the capital, business has started working again, coffee houses have opened. “People are really coming back,” the official added.
According to the deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration, now there are problems with public transport in Kyiv. To date, 3 bridges are already working to connect the left and right banks. The number of trams is gradually increasing and it is planned to change the metro schedule.
“The city is coming to life, but it is still a service business – cafes, service stations, gas stations, hairdressers, etc. But I know for sure that many businessmen are already coming who want to resume work,” Povoroznik added.
By the way, the Armed Forces of Ukraine pushed back the Russian occupation troops from Kyiv. At the same time, Vladimir Zelensky believes that it is too early to talk about victory in the battle for the capital. When asked if Ukraine won the battle for Kyiv, the president replied: “I think so, but this is not the final victory.”
