Russia is actively mobilizing. It does not bypass either ethnic Russians or residents of those regions that it forcibly occupied after February 24.
A representative of religious culture addressed the Muslims of Crimea and Russia. He gave valuable advice on mobilization and what to do if you ended up in the ranks of the Russian army. The corresponding video is circulating on the net, Channel 24 reports.
Better to go to jail than to become a murderer
First of all, the man urged to turn to Allah and ask for his protection from the evil of tyrants. And then look for opportunities to leave the regions where forced mobilization for the war against Ukraine continues.
He also emphasized representative Muslims – you don’t need to take the summons in your hands, and if you were handed it, it’s better to tear it in front of the representatives of the occupiers and go to jail than go to kill innocent people on the orders of the Tsar of Russia.
He is also in solidarity with the appeals of the Ukrainian authorities and recommends to surrender at the first opportunity if they are mobilized into the army. After all, Ukraine is a legal state that respects international law. Therefore, people who surrender will keep their lives and their rights.
But if you can't do that, I know where you should shoot. I think you understand, – the Muslim stressed.
Vladimir Zelensky called on the Russians to surrender
On September 24, during an evening address, Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the Russians, who are being forcibly taken into the occupying army. He stressed that it was no coincidence that the Russians themselves called the mobilization announced by Russia “grave”.
Ukraine acts in accordance with international law, which means it guarantees that
- Russians will be treated in a civilized manner in accordance with all conventions;
- no one will know the circumstances of how the Russians surrendered – voluntarily or forcibly;
- if the prisoners are afraid to return to Russia and do not want an exchange themselves, Ukraine will find a way to provide them with this.
Russian commanders don't care about Russian lives – they just need to fill in the empty spaces after dead, wounded, fleeing or captured Russian soldiers, the President emphasized.
Mobilization in Russia: latest news
- Putin is not happy with Ukraine's calls. Yes, from September 24, he expanded the criminal liability for a number of crimes against military service. In particular, for voluntary surrender, Russians can go to jail for 10 years.
- According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in order to patch holes at the front, mobilization in Russia continues at full speed. Thus, the military registration and enlistment offices of the terrorist country work around the clock.
- According to Tamila Tasheva, the presidential representative in Crimea, mobilization also continues on the occupied peninsula. So, in just a few days, 1.5 thousand summonses were issued to the Crimean Tatars. To do this, the occupiers come to the settlements where the indigenous population lives, and hand out subpoenas right on the streets.
