During a joint press conference, Vladimir Zelensky thanked Emmanuel Macron. He also joked that the French leader had already met with the head of our state so many times that he should already understand him in Ukrainian.

He added that meetings with Macron have always been powerful and important, but the current one is February 16 – “this meeting is special.” Vladimir Zelensky noted that the spirit of this meeting is that the spirit of this meeting is “the most powerful of all our meetings.”

Signed a security agreement

During a visit to Paris, Vladimir Zelensky and Emmanuel Macron signed a security agreement. The French president promised long-term support for Ukraine.

According to Macron, the security agreement specifies the commitments that countries made during the Vilnius NATO summit in July 2023. He noted that the corresponding support has a “collective dimension”.

The French leader added that < strong>Russia not only undermines international security. An aggressor country also destabilizes the world. It is also neglecting its own commitments made in the 1990s. But our state is engaged in the protection of international law.

Ukraine and France concluded a corresponding security agreement for 10 years. It will remain in effect until our state becomes a member of NATO. In addition, France will allocate 6 billion euros to support Ukraine.

Emmanuel Macron added that France will continue to support Ukraine in the supply of equipment, cooperation between defense enterprises, sharing intelligence data with our state, and also providing assistance to civilians.
