On Monday, November 25, the yacht Sea Story sank in the Red Sea. There were almost fifty people on board, some of whom are missing.

It became known that there were no Ukrainian citizens among the passengers. This was reported by 24 Channel sources in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Were there Ukrainians on board the sunken yacht

According to information received from the competent authorities of Egypt, there are no Ukrainian citizens among the tourists who were on the tourist vessel Sea Story. The PU in the ARE and the DCS of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine are monitoring the situation, – the Ministry of Foreign Affairs commented on the incident.

It should be noted that the diving tour departed from the port of Porto Ghalib to Marsa Alam and was supposed to return to the port of Hurghada. The cause of the disaster is still unknown. A helicopter and naval units were brought in to search for people.

According to media reports, there were 45 people on board, 31 of whom were tourists and the remaining 14 were crew members. At first, it was reported that everyone present was missing. However, it was later reported that 28 people had been rescued.

The nationality of the missing persons remains unknown.
