WTA Rankings: Svitolina Moves Up One Place Ahead of Wimbledon

The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) has published an updated ranking of female athletes for June 30, 2025.

The first racket remains the “neutral” Aryna Sabalenka, the second is the American Coco Gauff, and the third line is closed by another representative of the USA , Jessica Pegula.

There are currently four Ukrainian women in the top hundred of the WTA rankings.

WTA Rankings – Where Do Ukrainian Women Place?

Elina Svitolina, who moved up one spot and is now ranked 13th, remains Ukraine's number one tennis player. Marta Kostyuk and Dayana Yastremska remain in their positions unchanged.

However, Yulia Starodubtseva dropped one place. The rest of the Ukrainians are outside the top hundred of the rating.

  • 42. (42). Dayana Yastremska – 1,306 points;
  • 68. (67). Yulia Starodubtseva – 935 points;

  • 162. (163). Daria Snigur – 451 points;
  • 193 (196) Alexandra Oleynikova – 366 points;
  • 234 (234) Anastasia Soboleva – 312 points.

WTA Rankings as of June 30, 2025

There were six changes in the top ten of the WTA rankings. Poland's Iga Swietek moved up four places to fourth place. Italy's Jasmine Paolini improved her position by one place and is next.

Chinese Zheng Qingwen dropped one place, while American Madison Keys dropped two spots.

There was also a change in ninth and tenth places between Spaniard Paula Badosa and American Emma Navarro.

  8. (6) Madison Keys (USA) – 4,484 points;
  9. (10). Paula Badosa (Spain) – 3,684 points;
  10. (9) Emma Navarro (USA) – 3,610 points.

This week, the two-week grass court Grand Slam tournament, Wimbledon 2025, starts. Four Ukrainians will take part in it, and the Czech Barbora Krejcikova will defend her title.
