What is known about the US plane crash
There were four crew members and 60 passengers on board the plane, and the helicopter was carrying three soldiers who were on a training mission flight.
The collision occurred when a passenger jet flying from Wichita collided with a Sikorsky UH-60 helicopter near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
It happened over the Potomac River, where, according to the latest reports, 30 bodies have already been found.
