Azov Regiment Patronage Service announced a fundraiser for the needs of the wounded soldiers and families of the dead. Each of us can join the collection of money that will be directed to the needs of the soldiers of the Mariupol garrison.
What assistance does the fund provide: what is the money for
Since the beginning of the war since 2014, the patronage service has been treating, rehabilitating wounded soldiers and helping their families. Funds are needed for expensive drugs, operations, prosthetics.
The organization also accompanies the families of dead soldiers, helping with burial, supports families after the loss.
Now the financial resources of the unit have been exhausted, so the patronage “Angels to Azov” service announced fundraising to be able to continue its activities.

One of these heroic stories is the story of helping Deus.< /p>
During the Shirokinskaya operation, Deus received a very complex spinal injury with spinal cord contusion. Saved by a brother who pulled him out of the shelling wounded.
The doctors gave a negative prognosis: he would definitely not be able to walk. However, one professor promised to put the fighter on his feet – Deus was given neurostimulators. Subsequently, it turned out that it was not necessary to install a stimulator, it was a medical mistake and only worsened the condition of the military man.
In the end, the stimulator had to be removed – it was not easy, in Ukraine it was possible to find only one surgeon who performed such operations. The operation itself also did not pass without complications: one of the electrodes cut through the membrane of the spinal cord and got stuck in the epidural space, irritating the spinal cord. This caused severe pain. In addition, the wires had time to acquire scar tissue, which threatened oncology.
After many wanderings, Deus was successfully rehabilitated. He was able not only to walk, but also to become the skipper of a sailing yacht!
With the start of a full-scale invasion, the military collects the weapons of the invaders, which are then studied at the research center of Ukroboronprom, and also collects quadrocopters for military.
The story of Deus would not have been possible without the readiness of Ukrainians to help at a difficult moment. It was thanks to the funds of the Ukrainians and the work of the fund that the fighter was able to return to life.
