But our brave police officers make every effort to help people and take them to a safe place. Yes, they managed to evacuate wounded civilians from Severodonetsk.
Risking their lives, but saving people
This city in the Luhansk region is now the epicenter of the bloody fighting in the Lugansk region. Russian infidels threw all their strength and the heaviest weapons in order to capture this outpost and pass it off as a “victory”. But civilians suffer the most from this.
The National Police of Ukraine reported that the special forces of the police of Luhansk region, risking their lives, save the lives of citizens.

So, on May 29, employees of the special police battalion managed to evacuate five civilians from the city of Severodonetsk. They suffered because of the artillery shelling of the city, which was carried out by Russian troops.
All the wounded received medical attention and are already in hospitals in the Donetsk region. People thank the police for the rescue. One of the evacuees said that he was injured when he and his family were preparing. The blow landed in the back. The mother went to call for help, but, unfortunately, she died.
The situation in Severodonetsk
- On May 29, the city celebrated the anniversary of its founding. Due to the assault of the Russian occupiers, instead of celebrating, the inhabitants of Severodonetsk were forced to hide in basements. After all, the most cruel and difficult battles are now going on for this city. The enemy is shelling him, like the entire Luhansk region, almost around the clock. But the Armed Forces of Ukraine hold the defense firmly and do not allow the Russians to go further.
- President Volodymyr Zelensky mentioned Severodonetsk in his May 29 address. According to him, Russia came too close to him. Too significant forces gathered in our Donbass. Too prepared to go there. Critical infrastructure has been completely destroyed in Severodonetsk. 90% of houses were damaged, more than two-thirds of the housing stock was destroyed to the ground. The city has no connection. But Ukraine is doing everything to contain the Russians.
- Despite all the attempts to storm and capture the city, it is under the Ukrainian flag. And in the area of the village of Bobrovo near Severodonetsk, the enemy even suffered losses and retreated to previously occupied positions. Attack aviation forces launched air strikes in the Ustinovka area.
