A military expert, pilot instructor and retired colonel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Roman Svitan told Channel 24 about this, noting that Trump's statement about ending the war in 24 hours is a regular election promise. It will not be possible to organize everything so quickly.

As Svitan noted, it is quite possible that Trump will create a certain group where they will develop solutions for the war in Ukraine. Representatives of our state may well be invited there, who will promote our interests. It is quite possible that we will hear about the work of such a group in the near future.

Currently, Trump does not have any plan. He will work to develop a real option for ending the war. But it is difficult to predict what it will be like.

The plan will only be developed. They will not be able to stop the war in 24 hours. This can only be done if we are immediately accepted into NATO, and then nuclear weapons are deployed on our territory. It is clear that this will not happen now. Trump is preparing now, and then there will be decisions, – said Svitan.
