British intelligence emphasized that since February 2022, videos of Russian wives and mothers online protesting against the conditions of service of their loved ones appear on social networks every day.

However, according to the department, Russia's draconian legislation has so far prevented military relatives from uniting in opposition to the Putin regime, as soldiers' mothers did during the Afghan war in the 1980s.

The police dispersed the protest on Teatralnaya Square in a matter of minutes. However, the instantaneous demand of the protesters is noteworthy, intelligence officials said.

They emphasized that the wives of the Russian conscripts apparently did not want to endure the unlimited duration of combat deployment of personnel without rotation. Yes, Russian women are increasingly continuing to mobilize as the Russian army is not viable.
