The US House of Representatives on November 14 passed new temporary funding for the government. In particular, this was necessary in order to prevent a government shutdown in the country.

At the same time, this package does not provide financial assistance to Ukraine. Congressmen will vote for it separately.

US approves temporary government funding

Journalists noted that the House of Representatives approved a bill proposed by Speaker Mike Johnson to finance the US government. It was passed on a bipartisan basis.

In particular, 336 congressmen spoke in favor, 209 of whom were Republicans. At the same time, 95 Americans voted “no,” 93 of whom were Republicans and 2 were Democrats.
