Without general mobilization, Russia has already exhausted its resources, – Gudkov

Before winter, both Ukraine and Russia predict complications at the front due to weather conditions. For Russia, the situation is further aggravated by the fact that it approaches winter with almost exhausted resources.

For Russia, a difficult situation in winter will arise both on the literal front and on the political one. Such an opinion on the air Channel 24said the Russian opposition politician Gennady Gudkov.

Russia has exhausted its reserves

The opposition leader is convinced that Russia has practically exhausted all its reserves. The situation will not improve if a general mobilization is not declared.

Then there are practically no resources. They melt. Of course, Russia is in a more privileged situation in terms of military production,” said Gennady Gudkov.

He explains that the territory of Russia is not bombed or shelled, no one destroys its military infrastructure with direct strikes.

“However, there are logistical problems. After all, it is not enough to make weapons – they still need to be brought to the front. And today it is already a rather difficult task,” the politician noted.

In this context, he noted the successful actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which destroy the occupiers' logistics infrastructure with their strikes.

I think that the main battle will unfold in the political arena. After all, Putin is trying to do something so that he gets scared of the way and sits down with him at the negotiating table, Gennady Gudkov summarized.

Will the Kremlin be able to announce mobilization

  • Russian opposition journalist Igor Yakovenko is convinced that the Kremlin simply does not have such an option. There are two reasons for this.
  • First, a declaration of war would be an admission of defeat by the Kremlin. And the second is much more banal – although the Russians support the war, they themselves do not understand what its goal is.
