The US and Romanian navies will conduct joint military exercises Sea Breeze 23.3 in the Black Sea and Danube Delta from September 11 to 15. Ukraine will also take part.
This was reported by the press service of the Romanian Navy.
The main goal of the exercises was stated to be the development of operational and tactical compatibility of the participating countries in the field of countering explosive objects , in particular sea mines, to ensure freedom of navigation”.

Sea Breeze-23 will also involve military personnel from Bulgaria, France, Great Britain and Turkey.
From the outside Romania will participate in the exercises with warships, support vessels, amphibious armored personnel carriers, as well as engineers and marines.
The United States will send a P-8 Poseidon maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft and divers who specialize in bomb disposal to the exercises .
Other countries will involve divers, sappers and specialized representatives of headquarters.
