Four Ukrainian tennis players learned about their opponents in the first round of the grass court tournament of the Grand Slam series – Wimbledon 2025.
This happened following the draw for the main draw of Wimbledon.
Wimbledon 2025: Who will the Ukrainians play?
As a result of the draw, Elina Svitolina ended up in the upper part of the draw, while Marta Kostyuk, Dayana Yastremska and Yulia Starodubtseva ended up in the lower part.

Svitolina received the 14th seed, and Kostyuk received the 26th seed.
Wimbledon draw results:
- Elina Svitolina (14) – Anna Bondar (Hungary);
- Marta Kostyuk (26) – Veronika Erjavec (Slovenia, Q)
- Dayana Yastremskaya – Coco Goff (USA, 2);
- Yulia Starodubtseva – Francesca Jones (Great Britain, WC).
If the Ukrainians win in the first round, their next opponents will be the winners of these pairs:
- Svitolina may meet the winner of the match Varvara Gracheva (France) – Alexandra Sosnovich;
- Kostyuk – with the winner of the match Camila Osorio (Colombia) – Danielle Collins (USA);
- If the world's second-ranked player gets through, Yastremska will play one of the “neutral” pairs Victoria Azarenka – Anastasia Zakharova;
- Starodubtseva may play with Maya Johnt (Australia) – Lyudmila Samsonova.
The Wimbledon main draw starts on June 30. The final is scheduled for July 12. The current champion in women's singles is Czech tennis player Barbora Krejcikova.
