Despite the registered bill No. 9672 on the abolition of deferments from conscription for certain categories of students, they have not yet been mobilized. This is due to the fact that legislative changes have not yet been adopted.
This was stated by representatives of the Zhytomyr Regional TCC and JV.
However, the military registration and enlistment office warned that students may receive summonses. This is due to the need to update information about applicants and confirm the fact of study at the institution.

— According to the Law of Ukraine On Military Duty and Military Service, everyone who studies is required to submit documents, a certificate from the relevant educational institution, — the message says.
As noted in the TCC, Ukrainians who come to military registration and enlistment offices to receive a deferment from mobilization are sent to the Military Military Commission for examination and determination of suitability for military service. Because a deferment from mobilization is provided only to persons suitable for service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Those who are unfit don't get it. Instead, they are excluded from military registration.
