In an exclusive interview with Channel 24, Ukrhydrometcentre weather forecaster Natalya Ptukha said, why you shouldn't watch the weather forecast once a month.
You know, this is a completely false definition when people think that one day they can look at the weather, for example, for a month, remember it , write down or print and follow this forecast. This is a completely wrong and false way, this is not the way to do it. The weather changes almost every minute. Therefore, weather forecasters work around the clock, and the forecasts are updated several times a day,” Ptukha emphasized. there are no weather forecasters at any of them, except for the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center,” Ptukha said.
She explained that unofficial sites just use one prognostic model. No one analyzes it, does not verify it, how it comes true, no one corrects it.
That is, the weather forecaster does not make his own adjustments there. And this model can reflect a completely “bare forecast”, which is often not true.
Then a lot of complaints from consumers. However, weather forecasters, in fact, had nothing to do with that site and that forecasting model,” Ptuha concluded.
