< p _ngcontent-sc100="" class="news-annotation">Martial law continues in Ukraine, and with it general mobilization. The Armed Forces of Ukraine explained why they are now more actively issuing subpoenas on the streets.

Immediately make a reservation that this could not have happened if the conscripts had performed their duties. In particular, by contacting the Territorial recruitment centers when certain changes have occurred in their lives. Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Melnichuk emphasized this, Channel 24 reports.

Not agendas, but messages

He noted that usually those liable for military service are not given subpoenas, but messages. It's more like an invitation to the military registration and enlistment office in order to update the data, to pass a medical commission. And this is not identical with instant dispatch to the front.

And from this immediately follows the reason why the number of cases when subpoenas are handed out on the streets has increased. This would not have happened if those liable for military service had independently visited the Territorial recruiting centers and reported, for example, a change in address, marital status, health problems, etc.

If we are talking about general mobilization, this does not mean that (everything happens like this – Channel 24): “Guys from Ternopil, don't go out into the street, the military enlistment office has enough of everyone,” as people say, Melnichuk noted .

According to him,there are not enough peopleand force is not lucky to the front without preparation. The territorial recruitment center receives a specific task. For example, it is necessary to staff some military unit with a certain number of people or specialists.

Ideally, they should be searched for according to the list of those who are registered with the TCC. But the reality shows that not everyone is registered. Actually, this is why you have to issue invitations to the military registration and enlistment offices in the open air.

Invitees can go through a medical commission

We remind you that no one sends anyone to the front right away. First of all, those liable for military service undergo a medical examination. During its passage, doctors determine which category a potential military man belongs to. There are four of them:

  • fit for military service;
  • limited fit;
  • unfit for a certain period due to health reasons (until recovery);< /li>
  • completely unusable with military exemption.
