In Russia there are practically no allies left with whom military cooperation could be launched. Therefore, they are trying to negotiate with Iran.

Ukrainian political scientist Mykola Davidyuk told Channel 24 about this. According to him, there is a possibility that Iran will agree to cooperate with Russia. After all, historically this country has anti-Western views.
Russia is turning into a second Iran
Davidyuk predicts that the Russians expect decades of sanctions, destroyed the economy and complete isolation. If even such small states as Israel can put pressure on Iran, then subsequently conditional Georgia, Armenia and Moldova will be able to put Russia on the shoulder blades.
Moscow is forced to negotiate with Iran, because they literally have no partners with whom they can enter into military cooperation. China and India are “freezing”, and Cuba, North Korea and Eritrea will not help much here.
According to Davidyuk, the Kremlin understood the absurdity of its military-defense complex . This is evidenced by a large number of cases of sudden heart failure among representatives of defense enterprises.
This is an important point. After all, having plundered Russia, they are faced with the fact that many times the smaller Ukrainian army hits them in the ears. Besides, Putin thought that only he could rob Russia. As it turned out, everyone steals, and more than Putin. And the plundered army gives Ukraine a great chance to win,” Davidyuk notes.
Iran may transfer drones of its own production to Russia
- On July 11, the United States announced that Russia is asking Iran to transfer drones . US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan stressed at the time that they did not know whether Moscow had received the devices. But there was information that they were ready to teach Russians how to use them.
- Interestingly, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said they were not going to take any action that could lead to a further escalation of the war in Ukraine. Therefore, they will not help either side
- However, the commander of the Iranian Ground Forces Kiomars Heydari subsequently said that the country was ready to export drones and other weapons to the so-called “friendly countries”, where Russia is included.
- It is not yet known whether Iran handed over drones to the occupiers.
