In a comment to Ukrainian journalists, he explained that the occupiers are trying to break through the Ukrainian defense in Ocheretino by introducing additional reserves in the form of the 55th separate motorized rifle brigade of Russia.

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, named Ocheretino as the direction of the main attack of Russian troops during the spring and summer of 2024.

According to the publication, while Ukraine is waiting for a new package of military assistance from the United States, the occupiers are advancing in the eastern direction. Ocheretino remains one of the main objects of Russia’s attention, the material says.
