The director of the US Central Intelligence Agency is concerned about the strengthening of cooperation between Moscow and Tehran. Actually, William Burns said that the Kremlin is helping Iran develop its missile program.

According to the head of the CIA, in exchange for help, Tehran supplies the Russian military with drones. Note that the invaders attack Ukrainian cities with them from time to time, as it was on Monday – on the night of February 27th.

Not drones alone

The Iranians have already provided the Russians with hundreds of drones, as well as ammunition for artillery and tanks, the official said. It should not be denied that the Kremlin is considering the possibility of transferring fighter jets to Tehran in exchange for military assistance.

We are also seeing signs that Russia is offering to help the Iranians with their missile program and is also likely considering providing fighter jets to Iran,” Burns said.

At the same time, he stated that Iran is not the only country that supports Russia after the start of a large-scale war in February 2022. Putin's other partners include North Korea, led by Kim Jong-in.

Also, according to Burns, China is considering the possibility of transferring lethal weapons to the Russian occupiers.

Note! Burns in the same interview stated that Iran is developing its missile systems and is now working to become a nuclear state. However, there have been no official messages from Tehran about the resumption of production of the corresponding weapons.
