Why did the Russian Federation make a statement about “regrouping” in the Kherson region: response from Gumenyuk

The Russians announced their “withdrawal” from the left bank of the Kherson region in order to provoke a reaction from the Ukrainian Defense Forces. At the same time, this statement only caused panic among the occupation forces.

The head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, Natalya Gumenyuk, announced this on air at the United News telethon.

“Obviously this is an attempt to measure the readiness and response of our forces to such statements.” Because for a long time all the necessary resources were heated up in the information space for such a statement to be made. And they wanted to provoke our reaction, but it didn’t follow,” she said.

Gumenyuk noted that the Russians actually got the opposite effect. Panic began in their army, discord intensified and they were forced to remove this statement.

“They’re not really doing very well.” Because there the moral and psychological situation in the units located on the left bank is really close to critical. There is rampant desertion, disputes between units and no coherence. And this all complicates combat work in conditions when the Defense Forces are putting pressure on the presence of troops on the left bank,” added the representative of OK South.

Yesterday, November 13, the Russian Ministry of Defense published and then deleted a message about “the transfer of Russian troops to more advantageous positions east of the Dnieper.”

The Center of National Resistance reported that local residents do not record any movements of enemy troops.
