Rinat Akhmetov according to Forbes Ukraine remains the richest man in Ukraine, but his fortune has decreased significantly. All other billionaires on the list also lost money over the year.

How the fortunes of the richest man in Ukraine have changed since the beginning of the war
The richest Ukrainian suffered huge material losses due to the war. Metallurgical, energy and agricultural assets suffered significantly. Media business – “Media Group Ukraine” – Akhmetov closed.
After the Russian invasion, he remains in the country, although before the war Akhmetov spent a lot of time abroad. He has a house in London, which is now worth about $240 million, and a villa in France, Les Cedres, worth $200 million. Metinvest, co-founded by businessman Vadim Novinsky, is the basis of Akhmetov’s business empire.

Akhmetov remains first on the Ukrainian Forbes list. He hopes to compensate for losses at the expense of Russia, against which he filed a lawsuit in the ECHR. The total amount of the claim could reach $20 billion.
