Who has the right to check documents in wartime?
According to lawyer and advocate Rostislav Kravets, TCC representatives do not have the right to check documents and detain a person. They must call the police and, in their presence, conduct a document check.
If representatives of the Territorial Acquisition Center (TCC) approach you and ask you to present documents, then such actions will be considered illegal.
Only representatives of the National Police have the right to check documents. The Ministry of Justice also noted that authorized representatives also have the right to check documents:

- State Border Guard Service;
- State Customs Service;
- APU;
- SBU;
- GMS.
They must have with them documents confirming their authority. This may be a certificate or an order from the commandant.
