Who can replace Putin: an investigative journalist named three main candidates Yaroslav Pogonchuk

Investigative journalist Andrei Zakharov named three Russian officials who could become Vladimir Putin's successors. At the same time, he notes that the Russian dictator plans to hold on to power for a long time.

Channel 24 reports, citing investigative journalist Andrei Zakharov in an interview with Radio NV.

Who can replace Putin

Zakharov named three Russian officials who, in his opinion, could be potential successors to Vladimir Putin.

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the second person in the country formally is Malenkov, Beria is Patrushev, and the current Khrushchev, I think, is First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration Sergei Vladimirovich Kiriyenko. Kiriyenko, first of all, is responsible for personnel, just as Khrushchev was responsible for personnel in the party, and in general, Kiriyenko is very ambitious. I don’t know if you follow him or not, but he constantly travels around the occupied territories, wears camouflage, and almost carries a machine gun, which is absolutely not in keeping with his status,” Zakharov said.

The journalist noted that Putin probably intends to remain in power for a long time, and named three representatives of the younger generation of Russian officials who could become the Russian dictator’s successors: Dmitry Patrushev, the son of Nikolai Patrushev, Vladimir Kiriyenko, the son of Sergei Kiriyenko, and Boris Kovalchuk, the son of Yuri Kovalchuk.

He also noted that Dmitry Patrushev, who is Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture, has not had any significant failures in his position, Vladimir Kiriyenko previously worked at Rostelecom and now heads VKontakte, which intends to replace YouTube after it was blocked, and Boris Kovalchuk currently heads the Accounts Chamber.

Zakharov noted that the successors “grow up in noble families” and only time will tell who will shout “Khrustalev, the car!”
