General mobilization in Ukraine has been taking place since February 24, that is, from the first day of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Since then, it has been continued four times.

Decisions on the extension of mobilization and martial law must be made before November 20, 2022. This is reported by channel 24.

Will mobilization continue in Ukraine and who makes such a decision

According to the law of Ukraine the President determines the procedure and timing of the mobilization. Also, the head of state decides on the introduction of a state of emergency or martial law in the country.

For example, on August 12, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a bill to extend martial law and mobilization for 90 days. Now, until November 20, the authorities must decide whether to extend the deadline again.

It is important to note that mobilization and martial law can be terminated ahead of schedule. However, only on condition that hostilities on the territory of the state cease before their expiration.

How long will the mobilization last

General mobilization in Ukraine occurs in 4 waves. It is needed to equip the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as to rotate those who have been serving at the front for a long time.

Pay attention! Mobilization will continue in the country while hostilities continue on its territories.

Decisions to extend martial law can be taken for up to 90 days. However, the number of such extensions is not limited. That is, the Ukrainian authorities can continue the general mobilization and martial law as long as it is necessary for our state.

The State Border Service told whether students can be mobilized
