“White noise”: Russian oppositionist analyzed Lavrov’s latest statements

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov issued a new batch of cynical statements. He said that the terrorist country supposedly “respects” the territorial integrity of Ukraine, but only if our state “refuses to join NATO.” He also said that Russia is ready for negotiations, but will not cease fire.

What Lavrov wanted to convey

Yakovenko noted that the statement that Russia is ready for negotiations does not convey any information, because it is clear: for negotiations with Ukraine to take place, the aggressor needs to fulfill two conditions:

1. All Russian troops must leave the territory of Ukraine and go beyond the 1991 border;
2. Ukraine will not negotiate with Vladimir Putin, so the power in Russia must change.

Statement Russia’s supposed “respect” for territorial integrity is also absolutely false and meaningless. Even if we assume the scenario that Ukraine refused to join NATO, the Russian occupiers still would not have left Crimea and other occupied territories on their own.

In my opinion, this is the same “white noise”. What does it mean? If the territorial integrity of Ukraine is recognized, then in exchange for refusing to join NATO, is Russia ready to leave Crimea and Donbass? Of course not. • Sergei Lavrov delivered his next “amazing” speech at the UN General Assembly summit. According to the head of a useless ministry, the peace formula proposed by Vladimir Zelensky is impossible to implement. At the same time, he continued to promote the false Russian manual that Ukraine is supposedly fighting “not for its independence and sovereignty,” but because “Western curators” said so.
• Sergei Lavrov did not ignore the topic of negotiations. He convinced everyone present that Russia was ready for the process. But “he will not consider any proposals to stop the fire, because Moscow has already been deceived once.”
