Which Russian groups may experience a shortage of ammunition due to the defeat of the arsenal in Bryansk Anzhelika Galesevich

On the night of October 9, powerful explosions thundered in the city of Karachev in the Bryansk region – Ukrainian drones struck the 67th arsenal of the GRAU of the Russian Defense Ministry. The warehouse contained ammunition for missile and artillery weapons, in particular from the DPRK, as well as KABs.

Russian groups in Kursk, Kharkiv and elsewhere will suffer. Systematic work on the destruction of enemy military facilities continues, and will only increase. The head of the Center for Military and Legal Research, Alexander Musienko, told Channel 24 about this, noting that the Russians will gradually begin to disperse arsenals and warehouses.

Which Russian groups may feel a shortage of ammunition

According to Musienko, the shortage of ammunition due to the destruction of the arsenal in Bryansk will be felt first of all by the “North” group of troops, which operates in the Kursk and Kharkiv regions. Logistics are concentrated in certain points, and from there they are transported and distributed to different destinations, in particular to Limansky.

There are cases when the geographic location of the arsenal does not necessarily have to be tied to the units that are nearby. In terms of their volumes and capabilities, such warehouses can be responsible for even 4 directions.

Please note! Aviation expert, deputy director of the company for the production of electronic warfare equipment Anatoly Khrapchinsky said that Russia has about 20 such warehouses with ammunition. According to him, there is still a lot of work to do.

Accordingly, the range of weapons that could be in this arsenal is completely different: from shells for rocket and barrel artillery to guided aerial bombs.

“We see systematic work. Over the course of a month, this is already the fourth such large-scale facility that is being attacked. I think this will continue not only against arsenals in the occupied territory, but also against places where the enemy's manpower is concentrated, as one of the main offensive units on the front,” noted Alexander Musienko.
