Kononenko noted that now more European, American and Asian writers will be included in the program.

“There will not be a very large number of new works that are included in the program. If we talk about something completely new, then Josef Roth, an Austrian writer, he will also be studied in the course of school foreign literature. There are a lot of writers who worked on the European, American and Asian continents will now be studied in the course of school foreign literature,” the official stressed.

How schoolchildren will study from September 1

Ukrainian educational institutions on September 1, finally, will return to full-time education, but for this, schools must equip places for shelter.

Changes in foreign literature

Foreign literature is undergoing significant changes. It is planned to withdraw from the program the works of a number of writers, as well as the authors themselves.

Now in Ukraine they will not teach such as “War and Peace”. Everything that glorified the Russian troops, all this will disappear from the program of Foreign Literature.
