Where did Russia attack Ukraine with missiles and drones and how many shot down: Air Force response

Unfortunately, Russia does not stop its terrorist attacks on peaceful Ukrainian cities and critical infrastructure. Air defenses shoot down more than half of air targets, but there are also arrivals.

This Channel 24 was told by the speaker of the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuri Ignat. Earlier, the mayor of Lutsk spoke about the arrival at the energy facility.

Air defense destroyed more than half of Russian missiles

Ignat noted that during the rocket attacks on Ukraine on October 10, the air defense destroyed more than half of the 84 missiles fired by the Russians. The next day, the aggressor fired 28 missiles – 20 were shot down. Then on October 22, Russia sent 33 missiles to Ukraine.

The enemy continues to hit critical infrastructure. Traditionally and in combination, it strikes martyrs from the south of the country at night, they also attack from Belarus, from the territory of the Kursk region. On the night of October 21-22, 10 martyrs were killed, – said a representative of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ignat answered where Russia is attacking Ukraine with missiles and drones and how many were shot down: watch the video

Weapon to destroy air targets

He continued that martyrs are destroyed, in particular, with the help of weapons from partners. The enemy uses modern high-precision missiles X-101, “Caliber”, but the air defense was shot down on October 22, including 18 out of 33 such missiles. This is thanks to servicemen who faithfully do their duty.

“This is the Air Force aviation. There is a video on the net where a fighter in the sky filigree catches up and destroys a missile. Also anti-aircraft missile forces, as well as units of mobile fire groups that have MANPADS in different parts of Ukraine, which lie in wait, look out and successfully destroy these cruise missiles,” Ignat emphasized.
