Therefore, the partners estimate the time frame for the delivery of the fighters to be six to eight months, which, according to Ollongren, is very fast compared to the training that is usually carried out with pilots. She also emphasized that the Netherlands is working on creating a training center for our pilots in Romania. They hope to start the training process there as soon as possible. Ollongren noted that the Netherlands now has an important opportunity. After all, the country is making the transition to the F-35 fighters. “It is for this reason that we can deliver the F-16 as soon as we make the transition.
