On Independence Day, the US announced a new aid package for the defense of Ukraine. It will include even more weapons that our military will need at the front.
Thus, the United States will provide Ukraine with additional military assistance in the amount of $3 billion. US Secretary of Defense for Political Affairs Colin Kahl said when it will arrive.
When new weapons from the United States will arrive in Ukraine
Weapons included in new military aid package, the US plans to begin deliveries to Ukraine in the next few months.

Some of the weapons are not intended for the current war
Colin Kahl said that some of the weapons from the new military aid package are not intended for use in the realities of the current war , but they can ” form the skeleton of a powerful Ukrainian force of the future”.
What will be included in the new aid package from the United States
- 6 additional Advanced National Anti-Aircraft Missile Systems (NASAMS) with additional ammunition for them;< /li>
- Ammunition load of 155 mm artillery up to 245 thousand rounds;
- Ammunition load of 120 mm mortars up to 65000 shots;
- Up to 24 anti-artillery radar stations;
- Puma unmanned aircraft systems and their associated Scan Eagle equipment;
- VAMPIRE anti-UAV systems;< /li>
- Laser-guided missile systems;
In addition, the package includes training for the Ukrainian military. It also includes maintenance and support of weapons.
