Along with martial law, mobilization continues in Ukraine. The lawyers explained how to properly receive a summons and what you need to have with you at the military registration and enlistment office.
First of all, the lawyers noted that you need to check the correctness of filling out the summons. And only after that put your signature.
What you need to take with you to the draft board
Lawyer Lydia Karplyuk noted that after receiving the summons, the person liable for military service must appear at the military registration and enlistment office within a certain time frame. To do this, you need to take with you:
- identity document,
- military ID,
- documents about the state of health, marital status, training,< /li>
- any other document certifying the right to a deferment (if any).
At the same time, lawyer Kateryna Anishchenko advises not to panic if the summons is served, but to familiarize yourself with it content before you sign. It should contain the following data:
- last name, first name and patronymic of the person who is served with the summons;
- place of work;
- type of summons (clarification of credentials, passing a medical examination, arrival at the territorial recruitment center or conscription);
- date, time and address – when and where you need to appear;
- name of the body, seal, signature, surname, name and patronymic of the head of the military registration and enlistment office.
If you find that the subpoena is filled out incorrectly, do not rush to sign it. Before signing, it should be noted that it was drawn up with violations. There is no separate field for this, but you can make an inscription in the free space by putting the date and signature. Point out all the shortcomings and only then put your signature, – the lawyer emphasized.
Pay attention! Due to the full-scale war of Russia, the martial law regime in Ukraine has been extended until November 21. At the same time, until this day, the Verkhovna Rada continued the general mobilization.
