What threatens men of military age who went abroad during the war

What awaits men who remain abroad

Upon returning to Ukraine, men of military age may be held administratively liable for non-compliance with the legislation on defense, mobilization training and mobilization. In this case , a fine from 3,400 to 5,100 hryvnias is threatened.

Important! If a man illegally crossed the border, he will have to pay additionally from 3,400 to 8,500 hryvnias.

Only those men who received a summons and fled from Ukraine can be held criminally liable. They face 3-5 years in prison.

Which of the men can leave Ukraine during martial law

• reserved employees of enterprises;
• men with disabilities of any group;
• temporarily unfit for military service;
• persons containing three minor children;
• persons independently raising a child under 18 years of age;
• men who have a minor child (children) and a wife who is doing military service;
• employees of the Ministry of Defense, the SBU, the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
• representatives of certain professions (railroad workers, aviation workers);
• athletes.
