Sources report that Kobets left Kyiv on March 7, 2022 in a Mercedes-Benz car with license plate AA8332CO, registered to his wife Anna Kobets.

The fact that Kobets left Kyiv on March 7 was previously reported at the Center for Journalistic Investigations. Due to the secrecy of Kobets, confusion has arisen over his biographical data. Some publications first confused him with the candidate for deputy to the Kherson City Council from the party “Voice” Alexander Dmitrievich Kobets, and then called Kobets the driver of the legitimate mayor of Kherson Igor Kolikhaev.
At the same time, the gauleiter of Kherson has nothing to do with Party “Voice”. And information about the work of Kobyats for the legitimate mayor of Kherson Kolikhaev has not yet been confirmed.

- Kobets Alexander Yurievich was born in Kherson. For some time he lived there, and then for many years he lived in Kyiv and, probably, in Moscow. In Kyiv, he is registered on Obolonska Street.
- According to sources from Bihus.Info, over the past 5 years, Kobets left Ukraine abroad 22 times. Mostly he traveled to Russia and Belarus. In particular, Kobets flew to Minsk in 2019 and traveled by train and car to Russia in 2018.
- Bihus.Info sources confirm the information that Kobets worked in the KGB in Soviet times, and in early 2000 -x – in the Ukrainian SBU. He was fired from the SBU until 2010.
- In 2006, Kobets was registered as an employee of the Kyiv company Ukragrokhimpromholding, which traded in ammonia. It was founded in Ukraine by Russian Alexander Bessonov. Interestingly, at one time he also worked for the KGB.
- In 2012, Kobets, together with his wife Anna, founded the Kobets Company in Kyiv and tried to do business.
