Russians massively mobilize Ukrainians from temporarily occupied territories and send them to fight against their country. On the territory of illegal republics in the occupied Donbas, this has been going on for more than 8 years, and after February 24, forced mobilization began in other regions.
How Russians produce forced mobilization
About this Channel 24said the Donetsk journalist, head of the analytical department of the Center for Content Analysis Sergey Stukanov. According to him, since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war in 2014, Russians have considered residents of the occupied Donetsk and Lugansk regions as citizens of quasi-republics.
The journalist explained that there was social mobilization – men were “rowed”, regardless of age, occupations and health conditions. Those who wanted to avoid this mobilization were forced to stay home for months.
Today, residents of the territories of the Kherson region, Zaporozhye, Donetsk region and Luhansk region, which the invaders seized after a full-scale invasion, also live under such a threat. After Putin attempted to annex these regions, the aggressor country absolutely illegally considers Ukrainians living there as citizens of Russia. And accordingly – by force makes them fulfill the so-called “civic duty” and go to war.
“And I am convinced that exactly the same methods will be applied even on the territory of Russia. We see how this “partial mobilization” turns into a general one. should be mobilized,” Stukanov noted.
Occupiers do not trust Ukrainians
In this context, there will be complete chaos on the territory of Ukraine. The journalist explained that the Russians are very suspicious of the Ukrainian territories. According to him, they will continue to consider us “Khokhols”, even if they call us Russians or Novorossians. Nothing has changed from giving a formal status.
They will always treat us with suspicion, as potential Mazepins who at any moment can betray the “great Russia”, and therefore, to a certain extent, this is a kind of revenge. Like, go and atone for your betrayal with your blood for being called a Ukrainian for 30 years, Stukanov believes.
He added that to a certain extent, the goal of the Russians is to send as many Ukrainians from the occupied territories as possible to “defend Russia”. They need this, including in order to kill as many Ukrainian men as possible and subsequently change the composition of the population of these regions, mechanically resettling Russians here.
What to do Ukrainians in the occupied territories
Stukanov stressed that Ukrainians in the occupied territories should by any means try to travel to the territory of free Ukraine or to other countries through the territory of Russia, while it is still possible.
“Because today they will restrict movement, set up filtration camps, mobilize everyone who can be mobilized, and in particular, they will try to deport our children, our women to other territories,” he summed up.

Mobilization intensified in the Luhansk region
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russians are now especially actively mobilizing Ukrainian men in the Luhansk region . In particular, recently there have been many such cases in Stanytsia Luhanska.
Employees of local utilities were forcibly put on military records under Russian law. Then they underwent a medical examination, according to the results of which, oddly enough, they all turned out to be fit for service.
