What Russia wanted to achieve with massive shelling and will it affect the supply of weapons: Feigin's opinion

On the morning of October 10, the Russians massively fired missiles at the cities of Ukraine. It is possible that with this attack, Putin sought to impress the domestic Russian audience.

About this Channel 24 said Russian human rights activist Mark Feigin. He believes that after this missile attack, Ukraine's partners will provide us with some weapons.

What Russia wanted to achieve with a massive attack

Feigin noted, that with massive missile strikes on Ukrainian cities, Putin was largely seeking to impress domestic Russian audiences in order to respond to a request for revenge for the Crimean Bridge.

This is one of the most massive attacks on Ukraine since the start of the “special operation” on February 24th. It is likely that more than 100 missiles and drones should first of all produce a stunning psychological effect, the Russian human rights activist said.

In his opinion, the occupiers thought that after the missile attack, the Ukrainians would demand negotiations and capitulation from Volodymyr Zelensky. However, the Russians did not achieve these goals.

How Ukraine's allies might react

Feygin believes that after a massive Russian missile attack, our partners will express concern and also provide Ukraine with some weapons. After all, you can't keep promising, you have to do something else.

It's too late to spin. Now it is already necessary to act further in a strong-willed manner, especially when it comes to defense means, such as IRIS complexes,โ€ he noted.

According to Feigin, at the next meeting in the Ramstein format, which will be held on October 12, the final decision on the transfer of these systems will be made.

The human rights activist also stressed that ATACMS missiles should have been transferred to Ukraine a long time ago. After all, when Moscow realizes that Ukraine has these long-range missiles, it will have less determination to massively attack our country.

That is, it is also a deterrent weapon, besides, of course, the Ukrainians will try to use them to bomb at least a bridge, at least objects in the Crimea, at least in Belgorod,โ€ he said.

Feigin suggests that after these Russian shelling, the discussion on providing Ukraine with ATACMS missiles will enter the final phase.

What would be the answer if missiles flew into NATO territory

Feygin also commented that during the massive rocket attack on Ukraine, at least three missiles flew over the territory of Moldova.

He noted that if Russian missiles flew by accident, then NATO would beware. If not by chance, the Romanian troops would definitely enter the territory of Moldova.

I think that Romania would not stand aside and enter the territory of Chisinau to protect the fraternal Moldovan people,โ€ said the human rights activist.

According to him, the war is expanding thanks to Moscow's efforts. Russia is interested in not being left alone in the general chaos. Moscow is holding back because Lukashenka is showing indecision, while NATO countries are warning it quite clearly what will happen if the conflict zone expands.
