The Russian Defense Ministry is preparing provocations in the occupied Transnistria to blame Ukraine for this. Russia may commit a terrorist act or try to undermine the political situation in Moldova.
This opinion was expressed by military expert Oleg Zhdanov on the air on Channel 24. According to him, Ukraine will not consider participating in this conflict if the Moldovan leadership does not make an official appeal to us.
Variants of Russian provocations in Moldova

The military expert believes that Russia may tryto undermine the political situation inside Moldova. Currently, the aggressor country is using the opposition in Moldova and people's dissatisfaction with the increase in tariffs for housing and communal services.
Also, Oleg Zhdanov does not excludethe possibility of a terrorist attack, but this, according to him, unlikely.
It all depends on the mood of society. Maybe society will unite around the authorities and will defend themselves against such terrorist attacks and Russian troops on their territory. he noted.
As the military expert emphasized, Russia is trying to dehumanize us and show that it is Ukraine that is the aggressor. He also recalled the words of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky that we will be able to consider participation in this conflict only after an official appeal from the Moldovan authorities.
“If there is no such appeal, then we will simply be on duty at the border, as we have been doing since the first day of the full-scale invasion of Russian troops and defend our own territory,” Zhdanov stressed.

Ukraine can help Moldova
Oleg Zhdanov is convinced that Ukraine has enough strength to demilitarize Pridnestrovie with one military operation. He explained that it was enough to go in and disarm the Russian troops, and then hand them over to the Moldovan authorities.
“Here Russia is playing with fire. They themselves are provoking the leadership of Moldova to take such a step. On the other hand, we will be grateful for such a step, because then we will remove these troops, and they will help us in the East. We will not be forced to hold there are such a large number of troops in the west,” the military expert believes.
