This Channel 24 was told by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Irina Vereshchuk. According to her, the payment process has already been established.

What is the lump-sum payment

Vereshchuk said that the evacuees are provided with a lump-sum payment, which will be made in cash immediately upon arrival.

That is, for example, people arrived in Kropyvnytskyi, they immediately received IDP certificates (internally displaced persons – Channel 24), – the minister explained.

She said that 2,000 hryvnias are paid for an adult, 3,000 hryvnias for a child, and disability – also UAH 3,000.

Monthly payments to the evacuees

Vereshchuk noted that in the future, evacuees will also be paid every month additional payments will occur.

We are talking about monthly payments from our international organizations. If there are three or more children, this is UNICEF. If they are people with limited mobility, then this is the UN, the Red Cross, and other organizations,” she said.

The minister stressed that the process of making payments has already been established, it remains only to want to evacuate, and the state will definitely help to do this.

What is known about the evacuation from Donbass

  • On July 28, a large-scale evacuation was announced in the Donetsk region. Irina Vereshchuk urged the people of Donetsk to evacuate, because due to hostilities there is a risk not only of falling under shelling, but also of being left without food, medicine and warmth.
  • On August 2, mandatory evacuation from the Donetsk region began. An evacuation train with residents of the Donetsk region arrived in Kropyvnytskyi.
  • Commenting on the evacuation from Donbass, Vereshchuk said that the state would provide free logistics, accommodation and guarantee people all types of payments.
