The Russians in the war with Ukraine have long been using the equipment that was removed from conservation – sometimes it is a very old weapon. They can surprise if they use assault weapons on a caterpillar base from the Second World War.
Military expert Oleg Zhdanov told Channel 24 about this. He also noted that they had not yet used 308 mm weapons, which they produced in the amount of 30-40 pieces and used in World War II.
T-55 or T-34 tanks may also appear on the battlefield. Also, the Russians can extract a 100-millimeter automatic anti-aircraft gun from the warehouses, so far there has been no information about its use, says Zhdanov.
This is for artillery and tanks, and for other types of weapons, according to the specialist, it is unlikely Whether the BMP-40 is preserved somewhere in the warehouses, this is a pretty good car – it has a great cross-country ability.
“We know for sure that there are still steam locomotives – it is not surprising if they will someday be pulled out of stocks,” – he sums it up.
A curious incident at the training ground in Belgorod
- On the evening of October 15, Russian telegram channels reported that shooting had occurred at a training ground in the Belgorod region. Subsequently, this was confirmed by the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor state.
- 11 victims and 15 wounded were officially confirmed. However, a witness of the executions assured that the figures are significantly reduced. According to him, 22 mobilized were killed and another 16 were injured.
- According to unofficial data, three mobilized opened fire, probably at the firing range in the village of Soloti. One of the Belarusian opposition publications noted that there were more than 100 people from the Bryansk region. They seem to refuse to storm the Liman.
- Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the terrorists allegedly fired at the unit in the classroom with volunteers. Subsequently, they assured that the shelling was allegedly carried out by “citizens of one of the CIS countries.” It was also initially reported that there were three attackers. However, they soon changed their minds: it seems that two soldiers shot and killed them.
- There is a version that the incident was provoked by the citizens of Tajikistan, who were given Russian passports and sent to the army.
