< p _ngcontent-sc86="" class="news-annotation">The Russians are having problems with their missile arsenal. They lack nearly all types of missiles they use against Ukraine.
About this Channel 24Defense Express expert Ivan Kirichevskiy said. According to him, they do not produce some types of missiles at all, and they cannot design the rest in sufficient quantities.
It is known that the invaders no longer have enough Iskander ballistic missiles, as well as problems with Caliber. In addition, the invaders did not produce Kh-555 missiles with a conventional warhead at all after the collapse of the USSR, because all the technologies remained in Kharkov. It is worth adding Kh-101 missiles, which they also lack.
Why Russia doesn't have such a large number of guided missiles anymore
The evidence that Russia lacks missiles, as Kirichevsky emphasizes, can be confirmed empirically . Everyone probably noticed that recently the intensity of firing on the territory of Ukraine has significantly decreased.
In addition, this opinion can be confirmed mathematically. There is information that for all the time the infidels inflicted about 3500 strikes on the territory of Ukraine. It should be added here that 40% of Russian missiles do not reach at all due to lack of production, lack of guidance, etc.
Another important thing is how many missiles the Russians could produce before a full-scale invasion. According to the infidels themselves, they attributed to themselves the production of “Caliber”, “Iskander” and X-101 at the level of 200 units per year.
However, the figure may be completely different . For example, in 2017 there is evidence that the Russians were able to produce no more than 50 missiles of all types.
In addition, Kirichevsky emphasizes that when experts try to figure out the missile balance of the occupiers, they forget about one important thing. The Russians used their missiles during the fighting in Syria.
Based on what they said, during the 2 years of the campaign in Syria, the Russians fired about 100 Caliber and 100 Kh-101, Kh-555 missiles. During the two years of the war, the Russians fired a year's supply of missiles at Syria. Therefore, it is not necessary to say that the Russians had so many missiles before the war, – said Kirichevskiy.
Of course, the Russians can continue to design missiles. Now there is no evidence that their production has dropped to zero. But if under favorable conditions before the war they produced missiles with a 40% defective rate, then the current defective rate may be even higher.
“It was the Russians who manufactured missiles with a shortage of about 40% under favorable conditions. But the occupiers have problems with engines. And this is one of the most important elements of the missile. Of course, it is not necessary to say that their production of missiles has fallen to zero. Yes, on the other hand, if the Russians continue to produce a limited number of cruise missiles , then, apparently, they will miss more often, ”Kirichevsky emphasized.
Recall that recently the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine noted that Russia had spent at least 55% of all missile stocks that were before the start of a full-scale invasion.Stocks of some types of missiles are depleted to 70%.
