Due to the fact that Russia has been flooding the positions of our units with troupes of its military for several months, the Ukrainian defenders had more than one opportunity to capture the enemy’s equipment, and analysts to analyze it. In short, such equipment only more clearly demonstrates Russia's attitude towards its military as cannon fodder.
Moreover, such an attitude in the Russian army can be traced back to the time of the world wars. This was told at a briefing by the head of the information and analytical department of the Center for Research on Captured and Advanced Weapons and Military Equipment, Colonel Alexander Zaruba. 24 Channel .
So, thanks to the coordinated actions of all types and branches of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the “care” of the terrorist country about its people, Russia's losses by January 12 have already exceeded 113 thousand. In addition to the successes of the Ukrainian military, several reasons led to such an enemy’s mortality:
- low level of training
- poor security
- stupid Russian tactics and strategy.
So, at the Center for Research on Captured and Advanced Weapons and Military Equipment, several reasons for this situation were identified.
The first reason: a small amount of decent equipment
First of all, Alexander Zaruba singled out among the problems of the Russian army a meager amount of high-tech weapons, equipment and equipment for an infantryman. There were some sanctions here, because the modern equipment of a Russian, in many cases copied from Western models, contains foreign components. And without them, the production of new samples is almost impossible.

Therefore, the Russians are trying to replace elements of military equipment with parts that were not intended for this. For example, the military intelligence commander's portable computer from this complex is an ordinary industrial tablet used in construction, geological exploration and other sectors of the economy.
Subsequently, after the purchase of one company, another tablet began to be produced under the name Algiz. The only thing that is being done in Russia is a replacement label with the name of the computer,” Alexander Zaruba emphasized.
He also drew attention to the Azart radio station, which has only an external panel from the Russian one.
The second reason: the quality of the equipment available
The Russians not only cannot replenish uniforms or their elements due to sanctions, but also produce their own high-quality products. And this is not about super-technologies, but about the quality and durability of even fabrics, shoes, etc.
For example, the Ukrainian military managed to trophy enemy helmets that were modern only in appearance. Some of them had an outdated system of fastening and adjustment, which, when hit by a bullet, injures and often leads to injury.

It's the same story with equipment. For example, according to Alexander Zaruba, it is highly combustible and unstable to the effects of fuels and lubricants. Consequently, in the centers of fires, the occupiers have little chance of surviving.
There are also problems with armor plates that simply do not correspond to the declared class, because they are often replaced with surrogates.
The quality of such products is in striking contrast with the claims of technological superiority of Russia and those samples that are often proclaimed under the Russian slogan “there are no analogues,” Alexander Zaruba emphasized.
Third reason: corruption
There was, of course, no corruption component. So, for example, a State Duma deputy and General Gurulev announced the loss of about one and a half million sets of military uniforms. However, most likely, with such a level of corruption, it existed only on paper.
Therefore, despite the statements of the Russian “Ministry of War” about the purchase and supply of more than 300 thousand sets of combat equipment to the troops, in fact it is not being published. Consequently, the occupiers often have to take care of what they wear to go to a foreign country to die.
“By this attitude to equipping its own fighter, who today is mostly mobilized, Russia actually contributes to the destruction of its own people, especially national minorities from the poor outskirts,” summed up Alexander Zaruba.
