Organizations, institutions and businesses can book their employees. Now it is possible for 6 months.
In Ukraine there is a law on mobilization preparation and mobilization. It provides for the booking of employees, transmits 24 channels.
The law says that the military servicemen working in the following institutions are subject to booking:
- in public authorities;
- local governments;
- at enterprises, institutions and organizations that have mobilization tasks.
Consequently, such persons liable for military service are not subject to military reserve service and can work in their positions. This grace period is currently valid for 6 months.
Who can't be booked
Persons liable for military service can be booked according to the algorithm defined in the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “Some issues of booking persons liable for military service under the legal regime of martial law”. The decree also applies to banks operating in a special period.
Booking volumes for those liable for military service working in state authorities, other state bodies, local governments are determined taking into account the need to ensure the functioning of these bodies under the legal regime of martial law.
As for the volume of booking, they are determined taking into account the mobilization task defined for enterprises. It is forbidden to book persons liable for military service with the following military registration specialties:
- private, sergeant and petty officers;
- officers by VOS groups.
- No additional mobilization is required for Ukraine yet. The army is supplied with specialists through the formation of TROs.
- White ticket holders may also be subject to mobilization. However, such people, if they do not go to war voluntarily, are most often in the rear.
- If women voluntarily become registered with the military, they can still go abroad.
- Men will not be call for military service. The Verkhovna Rada adopted the bill.

When a booking is cancelled
Heads of institutions and enterprises can submit relevant proposals with the justification of public administrations. After that, the developed proposals are submitted to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine for approval.
The deferral is canceled when it expires, the task of the institution to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is completed or canceled, the state authority is liquidated, dismissed liable for military service.
