During the day, the occupiers shelled residential areas of the Kyiv region more than 40 times. In some cities, constant shelling is heard, in some – the enemy is regrouping and digging trenches for defense.
In total, more than 550 objects have already been destroyed in the region. Oleksandr Pavlyuk, the chairman of the Kiev OVA, spoke about this.
According to him, the situation is now controlled and calm in 4 districts – Belotserkovsky, Boryspilsky, Obukhov and Fastovsky.
Where the most shelling is in the Kiev region
As the chairman of the Kyiv OVA said, in the Buchatsky district:
- Makarovskaya community and Irpen – shelling is heard.
- Gostomel community – fighting continues.
- Borshchagovskaya and Vishnevskaya communities – rocket strikes take place.
- The Borodyansk and Dmitrov communities are the enemy.
- The Buchansk and Nemeshaevsk communities are the enemy dug trenches for defense.
Infrastructure has been destroyed in almost all communities of the district.
A similar situation in the Brovarsky district. In particular, in the Baryshevskaya, Kalityanskaya and Velykodimerskaya communities there is enemy equipment. There is a lot of destroyed infrastructure and damaged houses.
At the same time, there is already a humanitarian catastrophe in the Ivankovskaya, Dymerskaya and Polesskaya communities of the Vyshgorodsky district. And Slavutych is still completely isolated.
Part of the troops are being withdrawn to Belarus
Alexander Pavlyuk added that now the Russians are regrouping troops and withdrawing part of the units to Belarus for restoration of combat capability. Also in the Gomel region in Belarus, the transportation of the Iskander-M missile system to the Ukrainian border was recorded
The head of the Kiev Regional Military District noted that it was from the territory of Belarus that Russian invaders entered the Kiev region on the first day of the war. They occupied three territorial communities of the Vyshgorod district – Polessky, Ivankivska and Dimerska.
But for now, the Ukrainian military is ready for any scenario and we certainly take into account any defense options,” Pavliuk said.
