– If you are met during a curfew violation not only by police officers, but also by national guardsmen, municipal guards, territorial defense, or other representatives of law enforcement agencies or the Armed Forces of Ukraine who are involved in maintaining public order during the curfew, they can also hold you administratively liable, – the lawyer said.

What is known about the bill №10195
The Verkhovna Rada considered a bill on increased fines for violating curfew. According to draft law №10195, violating curfew was to be punished by a fine of five hundred to one thousand non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens.
That is from 8,500 to 17,000 hryvnia. If there is a repeated violation within a year, it was proposed to fine twice as much.
But for a corresponding violation by a business, the entrepreneur would have to pay from three thousand to six thousand non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens. This is from 51,000 to 102,000 hryvnia. In case of a repeated violation, the fine should also have doubled.
However, according to the lawyer, the deputies never adopted bill No. 10195 in the second reading. This document was rejected and removed from consideration.
– Perhaps this is good, because this bill has been subjected to some criticism. It provides for a fine from 8,500 to 17,000 UAH. That is, either half of the average salary, or the full salary in the country. Taking into account certain circumstances, such as being late from a train, such a sanction is excessive, Romanchuk said.
