Speaker of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat explained that the Russians do not just launch several missiles at one target . They want to inflict more damage .

One group of missiles can change its course and fly to the left, the other – to the right, enter from the west of the city or from the east, or north-south, in order to deceive our air defense as much as possible, and thus disperse our attention, – Ignat explained.

In his opinion, each belligerent wants to outwit the enemy. And the Russians will use all available means. “In addition, these are not just missiles, but missiles of various types – Iskander ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and UAVs. And all this flies from different directions,” the representative of the Air Force said.

Ignat emphasized that during the massive attack on October 10, Russia used long-range missiles, and this is a high-precision weapon that flies accurately, far and is very expensive.

Yuri Ignat noted that this is precisely the goal of the Russians, which they could prepare a little later, waiting for a colder weather. “But they decided now, obviously, because of the Crimean bridge. And this may not be the last time they do this,” he replied.
